Hello club members,

We know everyone is excited to get the new flying season underway. We’re sure you’re all itching to get out to the field. As of a couple days ago, the road in was passable HOWEVER the parking lot was still covered with snow and is sure to be wet and muddy.

For the next couple weeks as the ground thaws and the inevitable April showers fall please exercise caution if you go to the field. Please do not drive onto the parking area as we don’t want to have it torn up by car tire ruts leaving us a bunch of repair work to do. (same goes for the infield, careful with your planes and where you walk)

The Directorship will advise club members when the parking lot is suitable to be driven on. In the meantime, please park on the road or the rock pathway in if you choose to go to the field and walk your plane over to the flying area. Hopefully things will dry quickly over the next couple weeks.
